Severe weather forecast as sun shines!

The Met Office have issued a severe weather warning Cornwall and West Devon, which could lead to up to an inch (25mm) of rain during the afternoon.

Yet their own web site ( also see pic 1 above) shows the bad weather not arriving until tomorrow evening!

My instant forecast, which was scientifically arrived at by looking out of the window (see pic 2 above) would suggest that things in the Okehampton area might not be as bad as the Met Office is saying - but remembering the Michael Fish debacle over the hurricane that wasn't going to be, keep your umbrellas to hand just in case!
