Rugby: Up for the Cup: Okehampton take on Crediton

Saturday sees the climax of Okehampton RFC's excellent season when they entertain local rivals Crediton in the final of the Devon Intermediate Cup at Oaklands Park on Saturday (May 1st), KO 3.00pm.

Okehampton Rugby Club are hoping for a big crowd to support them in Saturday's Cup Final

After winning promotion to Western Counties West last season the young side has consolidated their position in the league, coming a very creditable 5th and playing, for the most part, entertaining open rugby. A cup win on Saturday will be the icing on the cake.

As a curtain-raiser to the big game, Okehampton U15s will be taking on a Welsh touring XV (KO 1.00pm) and hot food will be available.

The Club is hoping for a good turn-out from the town to support what is one of the most successful teams in the area.
