What's happening in Okehampton on New Year's Eve?

This year no-one seems to be letting on! A trawl round websites during this time of Crimbo Limbo (thanks Craig Charles for the expression) throws up nothing! I do know there's a disco at the Rugby Club - which is £20 head which includes a buffet plus drink on arrival. You should get the Bar Steward on 07530 169720 who'll give you more details.

Have a good one!
The Fountain usually has a special menu for the night - and it's been well-received in previous years - while The Pretoria will probably have music - either live or a disco. Much the same up the road at The Exeter across the road at The King's.
I would expect The London to be pushing the boat out - as since they re-opened they've been getting both the crowds and a good press. Under the same management as The Plymouth, they'll be directing potential diners those few yards up the street.
Out of town, the Red Lion at Exbourne has been promoting loads of festive fun. So far there's been karaoke and a pantomime (Snow White and the Three Dwarves!) so there'll be more than just a pint or two to be had there.
But perhaps in these difficult times people are electing to stay in and celebrate at home... if you know of any events for the night p[lease post them in the comment box below... spread the word!
