Great Restaurant.
This restaurant is absolutely fabulous whether you eat in or take away. Friday night is our special take away night so we have our food delivered and it is always hot and really tasty. Best Indian ever well done.

Always a great standard
We go regularly to the Rajpoot to eat and agreed that the quality of the food and the service is excellent. We also send many of our guests to them as well. They always get good reviews from our guests. It is great to have a good Indian restaurant in town as it adds variety to the offer for tourists when they ask for a recommendation.

Outstanding! An excellent meal! Wow!
We've hearing and reading rave reviews of the Rajpoot ever since it opened, and we finally ate there last night. I have to report that it's every bit as good as they've said. No. Better! Really professional service, very different menu, and the food was probably the best Indian cooking I've had. And not just the main courses... those stuffed naans are to die for! (By now you've probably realised we enjoyed it!) Even the bill was surprising - very reasonable. I think we might be back!

Excellent food, full of flavour
My partner and I went to the Rajpoot in early September 2011, when we were staying overnight on the outskirts of Okehampton when heading down to Cornwall. I'm a big curry fan and like to try different restaurants when on my travels. I can categorically say the food at the Rajpoot was one of the best curries I have ever had. My partner had a Lamb Balti and I went for a Chicken Dansak - both full of flavour - and even something as simple as the rice was far better than I have eaten at many restaurants before. Prices were very reasonable too and service friendly. It's just a shame I won't be visiting again soon, as I live over 200 miles away, but if I am ever in the vicinity again I will definitely go back!

Still getting rave reviews...
When the Rajpoot opened, just about everybody said how good it was. Now, many months on, they're all still saying the same thing. Best place in Okey to eat out! Long may they cook...

Give it a go: everyone is different
Been twice, and it has been very good both times. Both sit-down and take-away and took my young family. The flavours were good, service was friendly and prompt.
It was packed out both times, so footfall might count for something. We will certainly make it our local food place.
