  I see the council have put posters telling us all that parking is "free after three" in Okehampton for December in council car parks. 1) does that include the parking at Waitrose?   2) why not go the whole hog and have free parking all month to help local business and 3) who wants to shop from 3-5 - it's dark, most people are rushing home because of the weather etc etc.    Not a very well thought out scheme...

  Police have reported using 'Captor' spray in an incident on Exeter's Cathedral Green yesterday (Monday) involving a violent male suspect. I hadn't heard of this particular spray, but it seems it is taking the place of CS gas in the subduing of suspects.
