Okehampton's all-new Co-op - or just Somerfields re-badged?

Although generally a fan of Lidl & Waitrose, the presence of a new supermarket in town is too much of a temptation... so having braved the traffic I parked in the Co-op car park, noting the newly-painted lines, and went to have a shufti.

Hmm. New baskets. (Black, plastic, kidney-shaped, with lots of pull-along ones.) New staff uniforms. (How many have Jean Brooks and Christine Phare had now? Gateway, International, Somerfields - now Co-op.)

So what's on the shelves? In all honesty, nothing seemed to have changed very much. The Deli's been re-vamped, there are chickens going cheap, (Sorry! Very old joke!) and... own-brand is now Co-op. Not much else, and not many offers.
