The traditional sights, sounds and smells of Christmas dominate the centre of Okehampton for the annual Edwardian Evening on Thursday 6 December, with shopkeepers and attendees all dressing the part. Lights on over 200 Christmas trees, the sound of sleigh bells and the smell of roasting chestnuts will bring festive spirit to the crowds who gather both to shop and enjoy the atmosphere.
