Why attend? Events will explore what some communities are doing to identify gaps in or risks to important products and services and how they have designed enterprising solutions to those challenges.
With case studies and a presentation from a Devon-based guest speaker, we will consider how community and social enterprise comes about. We will look at opportunities in your own communities and whether a new business venture might be the solution.
Guest speaker: Dee Lalljee, Manager of Crediton Bookshop, and a community owned enterprise, saved in 2013, by the community of Crediton.
