Thorverton boost survival hopes with two late goals against Clyst

THORVERTON boosted their hopes of climbing the Premier Division table when they struck twice in the last 10 minutes to win 2-0 at Clyst Valley.
A goalless draw looked on the cards until the Thors were awarded a penalty which Emlyn Harris converted, before Scott Laskey made sure.
Morchard Bishop got over the winning line 3-2 at Alphington. Matt Woodward (2) and Dean Pidgeon scored.
Willand were unable to repeat their goalless draw at leaders Seaton Town where they were sunk 5-1. Rovers' only goal came at the end from a free-kick.
Elsewhere there were away wins for Newtown 3-0 at Budleigh, and Barnstaple 1-0 at Beer, while Heavitree won 3-1 against the University of Exeter.
Exmouth Amateurs are 13 points clear in Division One after routing Sidbury 6-0. Craig Higham (2), Matt Cousins (2), Tim Wright and Billy Gibson scored.
Phoenix Club were beaten 2-1 at the University, James Fanson getting their only goal, while Feniton shared a goalless draw at Cullompton.
Culm United held Bow 1-1, Paul Orchard scoring, while Chagford and Beacon Knights drew 3-3. Robbie Miller, Adam Pidgeon and Andrew Davies scored for the Moormen.
Tiverton Town are 11 points ahead in Division Two after sweeping Colyton aside 4-0. A Jesse Howe hat-trick and a Tom Tricker goal did the job.
Elmore sprang a shock by winning 5-3 at Chard, with Ash Perrott (2), Dom Perrott, Callum Old and Matt Snell scoring.
Westexe's hopes were dented by a goalless draw at Newtown while Sidmouth and Honiton shared a 1-1 draw. Tom Perryman scored for the Vikings before Mark Bowles equalised.
Pinhoe are back in it after winning 3-1 at the University. Danny Minto (2) and Dean Voaden scored, and keeper Adam Phillips was outstanding.
In Division Three Bickleigh won 4-1 at North Tawton to strengthen their promotion claim. Matt Atkins (2), Russ Pickford and Aaron Rapo scored. Paul Burrows converted a penalty for Tawton.
Colaton Raleigh and Upottery drew 2-2, Adrian Parr and Mark Tett goals cancelled out by Matt Button-Stevens and Cat Pislaru for Upottery.
Simon Durrant was the Tedburn match-winner in their 1-0 success against Offwell.
Axminster were seconds away from their first point but lost 4-3 to Sandford. Adam Pearse, Mark Vaughan and Paul Dudley scored for the Tigers.
Division Four leaders Dolphin were awarded two penalties in the first three minutes against Seaton but then had to dig deep to win 4-2. Darren Pattinson (2), Scott Partington, and Matthew Lyne-Ley were Dolphin's scorers. Ten-man Seaton replied through Niall Jefford and Brandon Bryant.
Ryan Spring and Ben Bennett were Exmouth Amateurs' scorers in their 2-0 victory over Whipton & Pinhoe, and Alex Baird and Josh Essex scored for Hemyock, who beat Okehampton 2-0.
Bampton enjoyed a 3-2 win at Countess Wear, whose two goals came from Ricky Pearse.
Exmouth Town replaced Woodbury as Division Five leaders after beating their rivals 4-1. Kev Pitt opened for Woodbury, but Josh Kirby (2), James Sharkey and Luke Smith goals turned it around.
Sampford Peverell shocked Newtown 5-3 with goals from Andy Lane (2), Jack Bridgeman (2) and a Paul Andrews penalty. Ryan Pearson, Guy Privett and Dimitri Rakaz scored for Newtown.
Jamie Hughes and Asa Sandman both scored doubles for Axmouth in their 6-2 win against Dunkeswell. Joe Berry and Chris Bowles added singles.
Heavitree won a remarkable match against Cullompton 8-4. Heavitree's goals came from David Day (3), Sam Haggar (2), Scott Jones (2) and David Brady.
A Graham Bowles hat-trick featured in Culm's 4-2 win at St Martins. Ben Sharland also scored.
Division Six leaders Chulmleigh won 3-1 at Awliscombe, with Rob Scott, Chris Andrews and Sammy Andrews scoring. Awls' reply came from Ben Gay.
UAU Exeter kept pace after a 4-2 win at Feniton, whose Jamie Brimacombe and Dan Thomas scored. Matt Boult, Dan Hine and Sam Tibbetts were the Clyst Valley scorers in their 3-1 win against Uplowman. Aaron Streat was the Topsham scorer in their 2-1 defeat by Priory.
Division Seven leaders Morchard Bishop were given a walkover as Hemyock failed to show.
Dawlish United beat Amory Argyle 3-2 with a 90th-minute Oli Williams winner. Jack Kane and Kristian Rabbage also scored.
Mike Rowley had both goals for Silverton in their 2-2 draw against Topsham, but Luke Foster and Ryan Priscott strikes were not enough to avoid a 3-2 defeat for Stoke Hill in a cracker with Exwick Village.
The story of the day belongs to Otterton in Division Eight. 5-0 down at half-time to Langdon, Otterton fought back to win 6-5.
Gary Brown, Marcus Stapley, Dave Reid, Vas Papinincola and an own goal had Langdon on top, but a Shelby Verde Salinas hat-trick, plus Luke Elstone, Jon Dack and Lee Mitchell goals, turned things around.
Dave Bennett (3), Hayden Figures (2), Mike Errington, Josh Jerrett and Stuart Bell feasted for the Met Office as they routed Folly Gate 8-1, while Mark Dunne (3), Tim Mills (2) and Dave Whipp were Lympstone's scorers in their 6-0 win against Lapford.
