Tell West Devon Council what you think!

Our Borough Council are asking residents to tell them what their priorities should be when cuts have to be made in the West Devon budget.
-
You've only got until this Friday (13th!) to complete the survey.
Here's what they say:
As the deadline approaches, people across West Devon are being asked to give their views on the Borough Council's budget for the next financial year by completing a short survey online by Friday January 13.
The Council would like residents to have their say on important financial decisions covering a range of issues from spending on day-to-day services to decisions on council tax.
Did you know that West Devon Borough Council receives just 12% of your Council Tax - £192.15 a year for the average Band D property - for providing services such as refuse collection and kerbside recycling, housing, planning, street cleaning and leisure facilities?
As financial belts tighten due to the current economic climate, the Council needs to know your views on where it should focus its resources.
Your answers will help shape the future of West Devon and help the Council make some crucial decisions in deciding where its limited funds should go.
You can complete your survey online at www.westdevon.gov.uk/budgetconsultation
Your survey needs to be completed by Friday January 13.
Don't miss this chance to have your say.
