Okehampton fire crews called to A30 accident

At around 2.00pm today (Fri), three fire  crews, two from Okehampton and one from North Tawton, were called to an accident on the A30 between  Drews Cottage and Merrymeet where it was thought people were  trapped.

When the crews arrived they discovered the accident involved a car and a car transporter. One person was indeed trapped and they were released by the fire crews using small tools.

The condition of the casualty is unknown.
