The Operations Director of an award-winning company which operates six leading care homes in the South West including Hatherleigh Care Village is doing his bit for charity – by taking part in Movember.

PSP Healthcare's Wayne Shermon is hoping to help raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer, by growing a moustache throughout November.

As part of the fund raising event Mr Shermon began the 1st of November with a clean shaven face and for the entire month he has vowed to grow and groom a moustache.

He said: "As a company we always look for ways to help raise money for needy charities and this seemed like a perfect way to help raise vital funds.

"I am hoping that the staff at our head office in Bristol and in each of the six care homes which are in South Wales and Devon get behind me and support Movember."

PSP Healthcare operate Nursing Homes across the South West and Wales. They pride themselves of a fresh approach to caring for the elderly. Their new care villages include cinemas, restaurants and wellness spas all tailored for the older user.
