Boat stolen - from Winkleigh!
By Richard_Penny | Monday, July 11, 2011, 10:16
Police are investigating one of the area's more bizarre crimes after a 21 foot boat was stolen - along with its trailer - from a farm near Winkleigh sometime on Saturday/Sunday night (9th/10th July).
-
A Bayliner 21 - which might be similar to the stolen boat.
After brief investigation online, it would appear that the boat in question was no rowing boat for village pond use, but a seriously fast piece of highly-desirable nautical kit. The photo above may be of a similar craft.
The 'Bayliner' stolen is described as navy blue and white, and anyone with any information is requested to ring police on 08452 777444 quoting crime reference 0592.11 or contact CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111.

I suggest you contact the police, 'parlourking', as I quoted the information and the crime reference from a D&C Police press release! Good luck in getting your beautiful boat back!
